New Upper Year Student
You are considered a new Chestnut upper year student if you have completed your first year of university but have not previously lived at Chestnut Residence. All upper year students are eligible for single rooms at Chestnut. Admission is based on date of application. After all first year students with the housing guarantee have been made an offer, we will be happy to accommodate any U of T students who are registered full-time and are in good academic standing. In order to be considered, students are expected to have had no past behavioural or conduct issues and must not have any outstanding financial balance with the University of Toronto.
Please complete your application on the University of Toronto Housing Portal.
PLEASE NOTE: Once submitted, your application will be marked as “submitted.” If your status is “pending,” please return to the application and ensure all areas have been completed.
Offers will be made on a rolling basis throughout the Spring & Summer depending on availability, with a deadline to accept listed in the letter of offer.
