Become a Community Coordinator
Under the general direction of the Assistant Dean, Residence Education (ADRE), the Community Coordinators (CCs) play a vital role in enriching the student experience across our residences. These student-focused leaders are at the heart of community-building efforts, working collaboratively to expand holistic supports and create memorable, high-impact programming that fosters belonging and connection.
Throughout the academic year, the CCs will focus on three key areas: delivering meaningful, inclusive programming; forming authentic, supportive relationships with residents; and strengthening the operations of the Residence Life team through thoughtful collaboration and initiative.
The CCs work closely with the ADRE, Residence Life Coordinators (RLCs), and Residence Education Coordinators (RECs) to co-create dynamic and responsive programming that meets the evolving needs of students and ensures ample opportunity for connection, learning, and growth.
As key members of our team, the CCs contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programming and initiatives that span a range of focus areas, including community engagement, academic success, wellness, personal development, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. They also play an active role in supporting the recruitment, hiring, and training of future student leaders—helping to ensure a strong, values-driven team for the academic year ahead.
